What this demonstrates

  • Scattered data is brought into one live view.
  • Each team sees the metrics that matter to them, from the same system.
  • Trends and risks are surfaced before they grow into problems.
  • The same structure adapts for sales, operations, marketing or support.
  • One dashboard can also produce a repeatable board or client report.

What a real build could include

The pieces a production version would be assembled from, in plain terms.

  • Data connections

Bring together the sources already in use, on a schedule.

  • Metric definitions

Agree exactly how each number is calculated, once.

  • Filters and views

Date ranges and team views that re-point the whole dashboard.

  • Charts and KPI cards

Clear, accessible visuals with plain-text summaries.

  • Alerts

Rules that flag changes against thresholds or targets, with an owner.

  • Export and reporting

Repeatable board, client or team reports from the same data.

The situation

Northstar Home Supply (Operations, sales, marketing and support managers). Sales, stock, fulfilment and marketing numbers live in separate tools. Managers open several systems and stitch spreadsheets together before they can answer simple questions about the day. This demo shows how scattered numbers become one clear, live operating view that each team can read at a glance and act on.

How it would be built

  1. Connect. Pull together the data already in use across the shop, marketplace and trade counter.
  2. Shape. Agree the handful of metrics that genuinely move the business, and how each is calculated.
  3. See. Watch one clear view update, with alerts when something needs attention.

What the demo points out

  • 01. Live KPI tracking. Revenue, orders, conversion and delivery performance shown as live cards with period-over-period change. Managers should not have to open five tools before making a decision. Value: Faster decisions, fewer manual reports.
  • 02. Custom reporting views. A department selector that re-points the whole view - cards and chart - to one team. Each team cares about a different slice of the same business. Value: One system, multiple audiences.
  • 03. Trend and target alerts. An alert centre flagging stock, marketing, delivery and returns changes, each opening a detail panel. The system flags changes before they become problems. Value: Earlier intervention.
  • 04. Spreadsheet replacement. Recent orders kept structured, sortable and searchable in one place. Operational data stays usable instead of living in disconnected sheets. Value: Less manual admin.
  • 05. Channel breakdown. Order mix across website, marketplace, trade portal and phone in one accessible bar set. It shows where revenue actually comes from, not just the total. Value: Clearer view of what to grow.
  • 06. Repeatable reporting. An export button that turns the same live data into a board-ready summary. The numbers people trust should not need rebuilding every month. Value: Board and client reports without the month-end scramble.
